The roots of "Le café de paris " start from 1952 when Gortsunyan (the surname translates as businessman) Gurgen moved to Cameroon possessing 20,000 francs. He and his French friend decided to establish their own business. Within five years, they built "Les Etablissements Gortzounian", which was spreading its activity in the coffee sector. The company had 6 modern peeling factories. During 40 years, Gortzounian family was the largest exporter of coffee in Cameroon. They also controlled more than the third of Cameroon's coffee production.
Many years later, Valery Gortsunyan, daughter of Gurgen Gortsunyan, continued the family business, founding the first store-café "Le café de paris '' in Yerevan in 1995 as well as established production of packaged grinded coffee by creating 20 workplaces. The store-café became a good place to spend time and have a cup of a great coffee .
Our work begins with the import of first-class coffee from Ethiopia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Honduras, Cameroon and a number of other countries, well known for their premium varieties of Arabica and Robusta. We buy only the best coffee, being afraid to lose the credibility, earned during many years of work and appreciating our customers. We closely control each stage of the production, because only a thorough observance of the technology guarantees the preservation of flavor and taste.
Our company does’t stop here and an example of this are some new products - delicious instant coffee, packaged the best cocoa powder from Côte d'Ivoire and a line of elite capsule coffee.
